The institute is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It also has ISO 9001:2015 certification. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited (3rd Cycle) PICT Pune with a B+ grade in 2017
