About Us
Anurag Hospital was founded by Dr. John AC Thanakumar, a renowned Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon. He has over 35 years of experience in the field of surgery having completed his MBBS, MS and MNAMS from the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore, he went on to specialize in Advanced Surgical Gastroenterology completing FRCS in Edinburgh and Glasgow. He has received training in Advanced Laparoscopy, Bariatric Surgery and Robotic Surgery from USA, France, Germany, Singapore, Korea and Malaysia.
