In 1949, Mr.Narasimhan Father of Y.N.Harish Started a Restaurant in the Heart of Chennai City (i.e) Mount Road under the name of 'UDUPI HOTEL LODGE' later he opened multiple hotels in Parrys,Highcourt,Chennai Harbour,Adyar and more dozens of Government Canteen such as Corporation of Chennai,Veg-Canteen,Port Trust Canteen,Airport Canteen,RBI Canteen,MRC Club Canteen (Guindy Race Course Canteen), Hotels in Chennai near Marina Beach and some of few to name it.
