About Us
Nizhal Maiyam had its humble beginning in the year 1998 by group of young likeminded friends, under the leadership of B.Murugan, with an urge to serve the socially weaker section at large. The member of the Nizhal Maiyam are all teetotalers. We did not believe in charity. We do not run schools, orphanages or dispensaries. Instead, we work with children and community.
Vision
Very simply, we act as a link between (a) people like you who want the help the underprivileged child and (b) the child in need, whenever they might be in Coimbatore.
Mission
We do this by channelizing the concern, good will, time, money and skills of hundreds of individuals, like you, towards child development initiatives run by committed individuals and organizations.
