Started in 1978 as a small clinic at Annur, oppsite to Government hospital by chairman Dr.Palanisamy In 1986 Padmashree Dr. G. Bakthavathsalam guided and inaugurated Shanthi hospital – as 20 bedded nursing home Today this has transformed into multispeciality hospital – Shanthi Medical Foundation.
