B.V.V. Sangha's Basaveshwar College of Physical Education, Bagalkot was established on 1st June 1982 and managed under the Shri Basaveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha, Bagalkot, which was established in 1906. Shri B.V.V.Sangha is a pioneer educational institution established with the blessings of His Holiness Sri.Guru Basava Maha Swamiji of Biluru in 1906. It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

Developing a prime personality in imparting excellent training in Physical Education and Sports to construct a healthy and sportive society " Moulding the minds with the sound body, create sportive and dedicated leaders in sports."
