GV Academy(CBSE)
Education
About Us
The educational scenario of India is going to see drastic changes with higher education already being on the outsourcing path with International Universities competing to make a niche for themselves in the Indian educational arena.
It is now high time that we ensured that the feeder schools to these lyceums of higher learning are going to prove their mettle and also made sure that the concept of universal education is not going to become lame footed.. It is in this context that GV Academy, an educative venture of GV Charity Trust came up with the novel idea of having a CBSE school with the state-of-the-art technology and an affordable fee structure for the common man whose child too will be able to dream dreams and realize them.
GV Academy follows the Blended Learning System (BLS) where multiple intelligence, constructivism and teaching strategies co-ordinate; and education becomes a real drawing out of the mind of the child rather than trying to stuff it with ideas. Erode has become a land of letters and higher learning and GV Academy (CBSE), with its Main Campus at Erode – Muthur Main Road, Elumathur; and the City Campus near the District Collector’s Residence, offers the very best for kids at an affordable fee.
Vision
My earnest hope that Academy for Creative Teaching (ACT), Bangalore, with whom we are tied up for the training of our staff will continue to shed its beacon of light to many more schools and Creative Teaching will pave the way for better trends in education for the betterment of humanity.
Mission
After discussion with the stake holders and the community the priority is given to the realistic activities by sensitising them towards their environment, teaching them dignity of labour, making them empathetic and developing them into responsible citizens of the country.
Simple activities like planting of saplings, cleaning their surroundings, contributing to the less privileged groups, saving energy by switching of lights and fans when not in use , participating in various awarness programmes/campaigns will be taken up.
Efforts will be taken to make them aware of the importance of Agriculture — things that we get from agriculture are food, fibre, fodder, raw materials for industries.
Students will be encouraged to make a small kitchen garden. They can grow small plants of tomato, brinjal, chillies etc., and can take care of them by watering them daily, by adding manure etc., with the help of the gardener and their teachers.
