About Us
JSS College for Women, Kollegala was established in 1983.The College is affiliated to the University of Mysuru, Mysuru and has been recognized under section 2 (f) and 12 (B) by University Grant Commission. It is one of the four degree Colleges in the Town, the other three being a Government First Grade College and two unaided private institutions. Ours is the only college imparting higher education exclusively for women.

To transform the college into a reputed institution of higher education, to impart quality education, to earn the status of excellence and autonomy and to be an instrument of empowering rural women.
