St. John’s College of Nursing is one of the five institutions under the St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences. It enters into the 30th year of its existence in Nursing Education. Right from its inception in 1989, it endeavors to equip students with competencies.
Vision
While the Institution is intended primarily for training Catholics and especially dedicated personnel like Religious Sisters who are conducting a large number of hospitals and dispensaries mainly in medically undeserved and rural areas of our country.
Mission
This Institution of Health and Healing envisages also the training and participation of the community (including dwellers in the rural people and the slum dwellers) in health care in its preventive, promotive and rehabilitative aspects.
