This institute establish in 1983 with 2 Trades.Then another 3 Trades have added Now totally 5 trades 9 Units were running since around 2000 students completed their training. The institute got salary grant fro the government of Karnataka in 1997. This institute have own Building located at bank of river Thunga in the Shimoga.
