About Us
University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) was established in the year 1917 by Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya. Currently affiliated to Bangalore University, the College provides seven engineering courses – ECE, EEE, Mech, CS,IT, Artificial Intelligence and Civil.

Mission
To prepare resourceful global leaders to invent, discover, create human friendly technology and promote scientific temper for a healthy society. UVCE shapes Engineers to respond competently and confidently to the Economic, Social and Organizational challenges arising from a globally Advancing Technology.
Events
CodeFury 5.0
CodeFury 5.0 is an Annual National Level Hackathon conducted by IEEE UVCE Computer Society. It sees enthusiastic participation from students across the country year after year. With cash prize worth 35,000 to be won, it is a 24-hour experience.
Admissions - Only through CET
Candidates who qualify in Common Entrance Test (CET) / Aptitude test conducted by Government of Karnataka are eligible to the Under Graduate Engineering / Architecture courses.
