About Us
VIT is unique among Mumbai's educational institutions in that it was founded by the Vidyalankar Dyanapeeth Trust, an organisation with a long history in education. Prof. C.S. Deshpande established the trust. In 1960, he began tutoring kids in a small classroom in Dadar, Mumbai, where he still lives today.
Vision
It has received an exceptional rating of A+ from the NAAC. Admission to all courses is solely based on academic achievement. For UG programmes, candidates are chosen based on their performance in the MHTCET test
